Scoil Naomh Iósaf

Adare, Co. Limerick

A welcome note from School Principal, Mr. Stephen Lavin

Steeped in the history of this beautiful village the school was established in 1854 when the Dunraven family made the fine limestone building on the Killarney road available to the Christian Brothers to open a school for the boys of the village and surrounding areas.

As teachers we endeavour to continue the long established traditions of the school while, at the same time, equipping our students with the required skills for the modern world.

Our school is a centre of learning and happiness for the pupils; a source of help and encouragement for the parents, where doors are always open for advice, consultation and implementation of constructive parental ideas.

We hope you enjoy our website and welcome to our school!

This school now has high speed broadband connectivity through the Department of Education School Broadband Programme, delivered as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.
